On Saturday 17th of September, with great joy and participation, we celebrated the 60th anniversary of our company and we inaugurated the new hall at Vetimec 2, where the new spotting press will soon be used for the manufacture of giga tools up to 180 tons.

All workers, retired workers, families, customers, suppliers and partners met each other to share the happiness of the event. The morning started with a plant tour of Vetimec 1 and ended with the ribbon cutting ceremony at Vetimec 2.

Several speeches recalled the history of Vetimec and its cooperators, emphasising the values guiding the group: Sense of belonging. Teamwork. Fairness. Growth. Future. Competence. Courage.

We warmly thank the authorities who took part: the Mayor of Calderara di Reno Giampiero Falzone, the President of Legacoop Bologna Rita Ghedini and the priest of Calderara di Reno Don Paolo Dall’Olio.
