Thanks to our continuously updated technical know-how and skill in listening and responding to customer requirements Vetimec is the ideal professional partner. Vetimec is able to provide technologically advanced products and meet various requests related to new product development, improvement of production processes and optimizations in progress or enhancements of production processes in its own sampling center. By maintaining constant contact with our partners, we develop ideas and concepts relating to product realisation and we use all competence and dedicated feasibility analysis to follow the customer from the initial project planning until its final approval.

COMPANY HISTORY

1962
Establishment of Cooperativa Modellisti Bolognesi.
1981
Take-over of Cooperativa Modellisti Bolognesi by Edilcoop Crevalcore. New name of the company is Divisione Meccanica Edilcoop.
1986
Divisione Meccanica Edilcoop takes over Veronesi & Tibaldi, prestigious company producing plastic injection moulds.
1995
Take-over of IBA Centro Meridionale SPA, structural & infrastructural building company, whose activity is mostly focused on the realization of chemical plants.
The two companies of the group, Divisione Meccanica Edilcoop and Veronesi e Tibaldi, join themselves to build a new cooperative: Vetimec brand is born.
2000
Vetimec takes over Aedis, whose activity is centred on marble and granite processing for interior and funeral design.

2003
Take-over, together with SAPP, of Petroni (new company name is SV Petroni), whose activity is the design, manufacturing and sampling of large size die casting dies (over 60t).
2007
Official purchase of foundry and toolshop area ex PETRONI performed by Vetimec.
2012
50th anniversary of Vetimec.
2013
Start of manufacturing process improvements: purchase of several new big CNC machines (placed in the existing historical buildings of Vetimec) + renewal of
ex PETRONI Facilities (creation of new assembly area with increased crane capacity and possibility of die holder manufacturing).
2014
Inauguration of new 2400m² manufacturing and assembly area Vetimec 2 (in ex PETRONI Facilities).
